How to Report Suspicious Emails

Step-by-Step Guide

1 Identify Suspicious Emails

Look for these common signs of suspicious emails:

  • Unexpected attachments or links
  • Urgent or threatening language
  • Requests for sensitive information
  • Unusual sender email addresses
  • Poor grammar or spelling

2 Use the Report Button

In Outlook, click the "Report Suspicious Email" button in the toolbar. If you don't see the button, you can forward the email to: [email protected]

3 Complete the Report Form

When reporting, provide:

  • Reason for reporting
  • Any additional context
  • Whether you clicked any links or opened attachments

4 Submit the Report

Click "Submit" to send the report to the security team. You'll receive a confirmation email.
